Terrance and Rocsi are Leaving '106 & Park,' Does Anybody Care?

So now word on the internet is that Terrance and Rocsi are leaving their 106 & Park hosting duties after seven years. In 2005, the two became the new hosts of the show through a "Fresh Faces" talent search when BET was looking for hosts after the departure of A.J. and Free.

Terrance and Rocsi are now both looking to further their acting careers. Terrance is currently in Think Like a Man and Rocsi starred in a DVD release Gang of Roses 2.

The New York Post first reported the news a couple of days ago in which they reported Rocsi is looking to pursue more acting roles and she's also moving to California. She also reportedly landed a new role in an unnamed movie alongside actress Lynn Whitfield.

I like Terrance much better during his acting roles. But as for the show, I wonder what the future holds. Will the BET network look for two new fresh faces to host 106 & Park or will the show pull the plug on the show like its former competitor TRL did back in 2008?

I think with everything being so easily available at our fingertips, we can now easily access music news and watch the latest music videos on the computer, this is what drove TRL to an end.

Gone are the days when people have to rely on watching TV as their prime outlet for music videos. What do you think, is it a wrap for music countdown shows?

BET is losing some major hitters, not only Rocsi and Terrance but Tia Mowry recently confirmed that she will no longer be joining BET's hit show The Game in their sixth season. (Read more on that HERE if you missed that post).
