Nick Cannon Has to Quit His NY Radio Show and Focus on His Health

Nick Cannon announced recently that he has to step down as the morning host of Rollin' with Nick Cannon on 92.3 due to health issues.

Just last month Nick was rushed to the hospital due to kidney issues and now he is having more issues with his health. Nick said he had to go back to the hospital for two blood clots found in his lungs.
Nick tweeted earlier today, "A bitter sweet morning. I have to stop my radio show. Doctors orders. The Doctors found blood clots in my lungs and said if I don't slow done and stop working so hard then it's a wrap."

According to People magazine, a source told them that a busy Nick Cannon didn't give himself time to recover after his kidney failure and things only got worse.

Nick released a statement about stepping down from his radio show and said:

"Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support. I will continue to host my syndicated “Cannon’s Countdown” weekend show and look forward to contributing to 92.3 NOW whenever possible. Even Superman has to sleep."
