America's Next Top Model: A Shocking Finale and a Winner is Crowned

America's Next Top ModelSo did your favorite win on last nights season finale of America's Next Top Model All-Stars?

There was a shocking final judging at the end that left the viewers kind of shocked and confused. I got the rumor scoop on that, but first lets recap:

The final three ANTM All-Stars are Lisa D'Amato, Allison Harvard and Angelea Preston.

They arrive on set greeted by Jay Manuel for their Cover Girl print ad and commercial, where the ladies were given a script and had to rock out Cover Girl Shadow Blast on their eyes.

Allison struggled on her commerical during the close up shots infront of the camera. The light makes her tear and they start streaming from her face as she struggles to keep her eyes open. We saw in past photo shoots that Allison's eyes are sensitive to light. At the end of her commercial, Allison pulls through and brings a lot of energy.

Lisa seems to think Angelea is not ready but Angelea thinks she would be a better Cover Girl model than Lisa and Allison because she says she keeps it real. Maybe too real? We'll get into that later.

Afterwards, the ladies shoot their Vogue Italia covers but only one winner will be featured on the cover.

Unlike previous ANTM's, this cycle has three top models walking in the final runway. Also, usually last cycle's winner joins the models in the runway. Last cycle's winner was Brittani, but I didn't notice her there.

Lisa, Allison and Angelea had to walk in a theatrical runway incorporating everything they have previously learned throughout the season. They had to go through which seemed like a series of obstacle courses; swimming, walking and even flying.

This seemed like the toughest final runway thus far on Top Model history. The ladies had to descend down to a pool of water and swim. When they popped out the water it represented their transformation from mortal to goddess as they quickly rushed backstage and returned, wearing their personally created designs by fashion designer, Michael Cinco.

Then, each lady was lifted up individually with some type of harness during their turn and they flied in the air briefly. When they landed they had to strut their stuff on the runway to the beat of their own music which the ladies created during their own video shoots in the previous episode with rapper The Game.

Each model brought their own all-star personality on the runway to wow the crowd.
Lisa's dress design was rock star, Angelea's was sexy and Allison's was lace and flower decorated.

After the final walk, Angelea seemed nervous and the other ladies notice she is not at ease. This is the last scene we see of Angelea.

Coming back from commercial and with a series of edits and cuts, we see the judging panel and Tyra and Nigel make an announcement that they are not in Greece anymore, in fact they're back in Los Angeles for a special finale that was conducted under "unusual circumstances," as Tyra called it.

According to Nigel, the network and production learned information from Angelea that disqualified her from the competition. But they kind of left the viewers hanging, wished Angelea the best of luck in her future and left it at that.

Then the judges moved forward with judging Lisa and Allison as the final two and there's no more mention of Angelea.

We see the final Cover Girl commercials and photo shoots. The judges collectively said Lisa could have done better during her commercial and they said Allson's photo shoot was vacant.

Can I just say, I loved Lisa's Cover Girl photo. The judges liked it too and she had her hair swept over her face, showing only one eye, but it worked, which brought a sexy and edgy look.

In the end, Lisa wins the first ever All-Star cycle!

Tyra said a couple of times "the FIRST" ANTM All-Star. Maybe there will be more all-star cycles in the future with other fan favs??

I've noticed a lot of internet buzz with dislike that Lisa won.

Well, I think she deserved it. Lisa has changed since Cycle 5 to when we used to see her drinking. Lisa took risks on this Cycle, took great photos, she works well under pressure, she had the most personality and has improved the most in my opinion as an all around model.

Angelea Rumor of why she was disqualified:

So there are many rumors floating around of what possibly disqualified Angelea from the competition. Nothing officially has been said yet from her, Tyra or the network and fans were kind of left confused during last nights finale.

There are no tweets from Tyra. Miss Jay has been retweeting some of the fans reactions about the disqualification and Angelea hasn't tweeted about the finale. But, Angelea did tweet this last night:

I'M AN ALL STAR!!!"OMG!!!! IM TRENDING WORLDWIDE on twitter right now!!!!!!!!!! Wowwwww!! That's the whole world!! Lol! #humbled!! Thanks y'all!!! #LOVE."

Some rumors say she was pregnant, that is why she wasn't feeling well. But this doesn't make sense because I don't think this would disqualify a contestant.

Another rumor said she had warrants and felonies, which I'm sure the network would have caught before she entered the all-star competition, so that doesn't make sense either.

But then I read from Google that supposedly Angelea got disqualifed for leaking show information on her Facebook about the final three which breaks contract rules.

And, after she posted the information, supposedly it was quickly deleted, but not before some of her Facebook followers read the leaked information.

With shows like this, contestants are not supposed to talk about the show or leak any information about the outcome of episodes until the those shows fully air. So if this is true then Angelea broke her contract and I also read she could possibly get sued for doing that.

Many theories are floating around about the "special Los Angeles finale" also saying Angelea was declared the original ANTM winner but the network had to refilm the whole finale to make it seem as if Lisa won since Angelea broke her contract.

Now this makes sense, Angelea got so excited about being in the top three that she possibly posted about it, she even possibly won the whole thing and they shot the original finale judging in Greece, then the network and producers learned that Angelea opened her trap and leaked show information to her Facebook forcing them to disqualify her and then later on having to re-shoot the finale in L.A with a new winner?? Wow!

I'll be checking to see if anything becomes officially confirmed and if it does I'll post it. What is your theory on Angelea's disqualification?

UPDATE BELOW: 8:21 p.m. December 8, 2011

According to People magazine, the network said in a statement: “After production wrapped on the current cycle of America’s Next Top Model, we learned information that made Angelea ineligible and she was subsequently disqualified from the competition. As a result, new scenes were filmed to address this for the audience during the finale.”
